Comsys Software sponsored the first scientific conference organized by Minya Faculty of Tourism and Hotels
As part of the commitment held by Comsys Software to society and its ongoing challenges, the company consistently seeks to initiate effective programs aimed at the development of both the community and individuals. These programs aim to serve the nation and address its economic, educational, and social needs.
Comsys Software recently sponsored the first international conference organized by Minya University- Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, titled (The Future of Tourism in the Arab World and the Middle East: Challenges and Expectations), held from October 27th to 29th. The conference was held under the auspices of Dr. Ashraf El-Shihy, Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Mohamed Yehia Rashed, Minister of Tourism, Major General Essam El-Bedewy, Governor of Minya, and Dr. Gamal El-Din Abu El-Majd, President of Minya University. Eleven sponsors and eight Arab and foreign countries, including Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Libya, Algeria, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, and Turkey, participated in the event.
During the conference, Comsys Software delivered a speech highlighting the importance of information technology in boosting the tourism and hospitality sectors. This includes enhancing the quality of tourism and hotel services and focusing on developing tourism and hotel education. It also involves providing the job market with skilled professionals in tourism and hotel management, aligning with global changes and quality standards.
Additionally, Comsys Software signed a cooperation protocol with Minya University-Faculty of Tourism and Hotels. This protocol aims to provide the ULTRA hotel management system to the university, enabling students to train on front office management and hotel reservation systems. The system will also be implemented in the university hotel to enhance the quality of hospitality services.
This protocol serves as an excellent practice for the quality of the educational process and preparing students for the job market. It aims to implement a distinctive academic and professional cooperation project that supports academic and educational cooperation activities and disseminates expertise in hotel management between the Faculty of Tourism and Comsys Software.
These initiatives are part of thecorporate social responsibility made by the company and its commitment to contributing to society advancement and human development. This includes fostering creativity, development, and creating distinguished individuals qualified to work in various fields, including tourism and hotels. By keeping pace with global changes, these initiatives aim to enhance human capabilities, improve efficiency, and increase productivity.
So far, Comsys Software has signed cooperation agreements with the Faculties of Tourism and Hotels at Alexandria University and Fayoum University, in addition to the King Mariout Higher Institutes Complex in Alexandria.
